So many emotions today as I dropped my sweet girls off to school. They were up before me..so eager and ready to take on their day with their new backpacks, new outfits, and big bows.
As I drove away, I couldn’t help but reflect on their eagerness and willingness to jump right in and embrace their new environment. Completely fearless, ready to tackle it head on.
How many times in life are we so afraid of the risk of the unknown that we shy away from the opportunity that could change our life?
Most of us, including me, have avoided the pain and the discipline of change and growth. We’ve taken the route that’s way more comfortable. Way less pain, sweat, tears.
Today was a simple reminder from my sweet babies to embrace growth, change, and risk.
So I leave you with an awesome quote from Najwa Zebian-
“Remember that you are a work in progress. You are not perfect. You are not expected to be. Do not allow the fear of failing to stop you from jumping. Do not allow the fear of responsibility to stop you from committing. Do not allow the fear of exposure to stop you from shining. ”
