Ladies!! We’ve all heard that “comparison is the thief of joy,” right?
Stop comparing yourself to that other girl in the gym who you want to look like, lift like, be like.
Instead, take a second to figure out what you want and where you want to be and GET STARTED. Take all that energy you’re wasting on wishing you were in a different place and take some action.
Be willing to put yourself out there and fail. It’s about deciding to win and not stopping until you get there.
Be willing to dedicate the time it takes to get where you want to be.
Be willing to sacrifice a few things and you’ll see that the things you’re having to give up may or may not have been the very things holding you back.
Enjoy the journey, enjoy the process, savor the character development and the refining process.
Thoughts, fears, negativity, comparison to others will continually lie to you every day. Hard work, consistency, perseverance won’t.
So start today, not tomorrow!
1.Find an accountability buddy to go to the gym with, join a gym with an amazing support system, invest in a program that will guarantee your success and TRACK your progress (I know one in Ruston, lol).
2.Find some workout clothes that actually MAKE you want to workout…find something that makes you feel good in your own skin!
3. Just start! That’s often the hardest part but consistency is the key to all of your success and you’ll find that the reward isn’t all the physical change you’ll see, it the emotional change and shift that is the drastic win!
The road might be longer than expected but set a goal and don’t stop till you get there! I’m cheering you on no matter where you are!
